 Beautiful Earrings,.. but!Mar 13, 2008
I bought these earrings both in the yellow gold and in the white gold. As I already explained in my review on the White Gold Pair, these earrings are solid gold and are quite lovely, except for the short posts and the very,..very tiny butterfly backings. In fact, I have never bought Gold Ball Stud Earrrings (and I have them in 4mm, 7mm, 8mm and 10mm) with such small backings. All of my other pairs have normal size butterfly backings, enabling me to wear them comfortably and securely. As mentioned in my other review, I kept both pairs because I wear these only occasionally. For everyday use, it would be necessary for me to invest in larger and more secure gold backings. It is shameful for the vendor to cut corners in such a miserly manner; and thus, compromise the integrity of an otherwise beautiful piece of jewelry. I rate this Item 3 stars. Even that is generous.

Spouse is in National Guard. These are within regulations for wear in uniform. They look great are inexpensive, and meet requirements - a great deal!

I though they will look bigger, but still the look cute and they are strong.
