Camera Armor for Canon XTiSep 29, 2009 The armor looks sturdy, but it is not easy to change lenses while the armor is on. Everything else seems to be fine. We haven't tried to smash the camera against the rock while it is in the case, but it looks like it will protect against some damages.
it worksAug 20, 2009 Armor works well. I wouldn't drop the thing with the armor but it protects it from minor scratches and dust. And it makes it look like batman's camera (black armor)!
Great armor for the XTIAug 12, 2009 I love this product. I didn't use the lens armor so I can't comment on that. But the armor for the body fits perfectly and does a good job of protecting from small bumps. Two thumbs up.
Buy itApr 13, 2009 Great for traveling. It fits your Rebel XTi like a glove. You have full access to all the usual controls. It protects the body, the LCD, and offers a steadier grip.
Very minor cons for me: the lens hood rubber was too small for my lens but I have a rigid hood for it anyway; it was a little trouble to lock it in place on my tripod because a bit of rubber is in the way - so cut a tad off.
Good but not greatMar 31, 2009 I bought this product when I needed a protective holster for my camera.
What I like about it is how it fits the camera nicely and I can still access all the buttons very easily. It became part of the camera. But if you're changing lenses back and forth, it takes a while to lock the lenses in position as the base gets caught in the rubber. I heard that people usually get the hang of it eventually. I'm hoping so too...
The most annoying thing with this armor is the lens protector. It's pain in the neck to get it in the correct spot. If you don't put it on the right spot your lens won't rotate! It moves out of position easily too, so I basically gave up on this part and I'm not using it. I didn't hear anybody else complain about this, so maybe it's just me...
